Hello, I'm Sookyeun, a ceramic artist from South Korea now living in California. My work blends traditional Korean artistry with contemporary influences from my Californian surroundings.

Growing up in South Korea, I was inspired by a culture that values craftsmanship and artistic expression. Moving to California allowed me to explore new artistic possibilities, combining meticulous techniques with innovative ideas.

My ceramics, including lifelike eggs and vibrant unpeeled fruits, are playful yet sophisticated. Each piece is carefully crafted to engage viewers on a sensory level, bridging the ordinary and the extraordinary.
